Ethisphere is at the forefront of organizational ethics and compliance is Ethisphere. In 2021, PullSpark partnered with Ethisphere to produce and execute their annual award show: The World’s Most Ethical Companies Gala. As the need arose to transition to a virtual experience, we collaborated with the Ethisphere team to rethink both their programming and their sales strategy. This project highlights how the attendee experience is more than just a video or a speaker’s talk; it’s a comprehensive experience from the initial invitation to the post-event recap.
The virtual world requires a different approach to capacity and engagement than an in-person event, especially for an award show experience. With global companies such as Voya and Dell as participants, we wanted to create a strategy that would provide a good ROI for a company’s money and time. So instead of selling in-person tables, we sold watch parties. This allowed each organization to invite in more people, ultimately expanding audience reach.
One of the values of the World’s Most Ethical Companies is inclusion. That’s why featuring Mandy Harvey, a deaf singer who performed on America’s Got Talent, at the 2021 Gala was such a special moment. Not only did PullSpark create custom visuals to synchronize with her live musical performance, but we were able to capture and edit an exceptional interview with her. Headliners provide high value talent and, when programmed well, can emphasize a brand’s messaging in profound ways.
You’ve only got one chance to open a show. For the 2021 Gala, the PullSpark team composed an original piece, writing the script, scoring the music, sourcing and directing a spoken word artist, rendering 3D animation, and capturing it all in a one-take live performance. Not only is a moment like this captivating, but it sets the tone for the content, the brand, and the level of excellence for an entire program. Every show deserves a great opener.
